"A Syllabus of Comedies" the author has asked
that this disclaimer be included with the story:
"DISCLAIMER--The following series of parodies is rated PG-13. The Rescue
Rangers appear not as characters but as actors portraying characters in other
stories. No disrespect, but rather much affection, is meant toward the Rangers.
Also please note that this work was written solely to entertain and to amuse.
No irreverence is intended, no "point" or ideology is advocated, and no hurt,
offense, ridicule, or scorn is aimed at ANYONE. Please keep all the above
in mind while reading."

funny.)

A MST of Karen's "Kat" Mollet's "Rescue Rangers" story "A Hitch in Time"
In this treatment of a fanfic, Gidget (not to be confused with Gadget!) and
Lawainee do the reading and commentary. The original is by 1katkm@geocities.com,
and the MiSTing is by aliepa@lib.acadlib.lv. This is the second in the series
of "Gidget's and Lawainee's reviews." Aivars comments, "I was prereading
the story for Kat, and making a quite commentaries, from whom this MST grew
at the end, I also need thank Kat for correcting errors into MST for me."
This story comes in parts one,
two, and three.

MiSTed: "Darkwing Duck meets the BACKSTREET BOYS,"
original story by Aavalos@aol.com, MiSTed by JenWhite6@aol.com. JenWhite6
writes: "For those who are unfamiliar with the "Mystery Science Theater 3000"
concept, that is a cable TV show in which three characters watch old movies
and make comments back at it, something like people do in 'The Rocky Horror
Picture Show'. People do something similar on the Internet, taking fan fiction
and writing the characters' reactions to it (in script format) as they read
it. I use a different cast - characters from the show 'Space Ghost Coast
to Coast' - to react to cartoon stories. Muchos gracias to Andrea for letting
me MiST her story, which I did enjoy in its raw form." Aavalos writes: "I'd
like to state my thanks to Jen White for going easy on me. ^_^"

"The Fearsome Five Cable Access Show MiSTs: Firsts
by Amanda Ratliff" Original story by mander@eurekanet.com, MiSTed by
ZQF@aol.com. In this "Mystery Science Theater 3000" treatment of a fanfic,
the Fearsome Five from "Darkwing Duck" have gotten their own cable TV show
and are using it to mangle poor unsuspecting stories. The author of the original
story writes "Zehra did a love job misting my fic and as always I'd like
to thank her for twisting my stories into things they aren't. :)"
-
"Why There Shouldn't be a Gargoyles/Darkwing Duck
Crossover" 15 arguments by against this concept - some of which make
me want to see it happen. :)
